To give you an honest answer: VG is no solution for lead guitars. The entire VG series focusses solely on rhythm. The single notes that you find in some of the phrases are merely for creating melodic riffs. In our experience there is no satisfactory solution for creating convincing lead guitars - that's why we left it out.
