Problem | Virtual Guitarist won't show up on NI Maschine / Kontrol after installation |
Solution | load Plug-in through internal BROWSE funciton instead as AU / VST. When using Maschine / Kontrol as a Plug-in in a DAW, start the software in standalone once, before using the DAW (this way the library gets updated). |
If you want to make use of the NKS features of VG IRON, VG AMBER, VG SPARKLE, or VG SILK, you just have to load it through the internal "BROWSE" function of Maschine / Komplete Kontrol instead of loading it as a standard AU or VST plugin.
If you use Maschine or Komplete Kontrol as a plugin in another DAW like Cubase, Logic, Ableton, or such, it is important that, after you completed your VG installation, you start Maschine/Komplete Kontrol once in standalone mode before loading it from your DAW.
In standalone mode, the library gets updated and new plugins get initialized. If this initialization is not completed, the plugin will not load properly and a re-installation would be necessary.
