How to Rescan Plugins in Logic Pro & Garageband:
1. Make sure your UJAM plug-in is installed in order to run properly, please check if that’s the case.
The default path of Audio Unit (AU) files on your system should read as follows:
If the plug-in is stored in this location, you can move on to Step 2 – if not, please go to ujam.com/my-account to download your desired plug-in/plug-ins.
2. Open Logic Pro X and Go to Preferences and click Plug-in Manager.
3. Select the plug-in in Logics Plug-in Manager and force a rescan by clicking on Reset & Rescan Selection, check the screenshot below. If you're using the most recent Logic version, you can even do a full audio unit reset. In rare cases, the regular rescan might not work for you, but don't you worry: read along to learn how to do a manual rescan in the next step.

4. How do I clear my Audio Unit cache for a manual rescan?
A. In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
B. Type ~/Library/Caches in the "Go to the folder" field.
C. Press the Go button.
D. Remove the "com.apple.audiounits.cache" file.
E. Remove the ~/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache folder.
F. Restart your operating system.
Your plug-in/plug-ins should’ve now been scanned successfully. Enjoy making music!
Additional Trouble Shooting
If your issues persist and "failed validation" appears in the Compatibility column for the plug-in, select the plug-in in the list, then click Reset & Rescan Selection. If "not authorized" appears in the Compatibility column for the plug-in, make sure the plug-in is properly installed. Then re-scan the plug-in.
If the plug-in fails validation again, check if you might need to update your DAW or operating system.
