This guide lists all steps to remove a UJAM plug-in completely from your system. If you're running into any issues with your plug-in, a fresh clean reinstallation helps in most cases.
UJAM App Uninstall Feature
The easiest way of uninstalling a plugin is via the UJAM App.
❗Please note that if you are using custom folders instead of the default locations, you might need to manually delete your plugin files to ensure that all files get removed when uninstalling. |
- Open the App settings and check if you're using the latest UJAM App version (at least 0.3.8):
- Find the product you'd like to uninstall and click on the meatballs menu, then on ‘Uninstall‘:
- You will now be asked to enter your admin credentials:
- Enter your credentials and then the plugin will get uninstalled immediately.
- Double-check the default locations to verify that all files got removed: Default file locations
- Done! ✔︎
Remove files manually
If you're not using the UJAM App or you are using custom folders, you need to remove all the plugin files from your system manually. Here's an example for uninstalling:
- Run the uninstaller of your plugin.
- During standard installation, the uninstaller file will be put into the following locations on your main system drive:
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Program Files\UJAM\

- Please make sure no .dll, VST3 or .blob files of your plugin are somewhere on your system in case you are using folders in custom locations.
- Delete the whole plug-in folder (show hidden files must be enabled)
- If you created custom user-presets and want to keep them, please move the folder to an external drive

- Start your DAW after uninstalling and check whether the respective plugin appears in the plug-in list (it shouldn't)
- Restart your computer
- Reinstall the plugin
- Launch your DAW (it should now do a rescan and find the plug-in)
