Why do I see a warning when I want to download and install my plug-in? (Windows)

We've heard from some users that they see a warning message during or after the download/ installation of the respective product.

This is nothing to worry about, as this issue is related to our new software certificates we use for Windows. The plug-in won't harm your system. Promised.

So far, we know that this is only an issue with some plug-ins from our Beatmaker series and Virtual Drummer DEEP.

Here's an example for the process and how to install the plug-in:

• Starts download of the plug-in. Until here is everything fine.

• When the download is finished you may see the following message (EDGE Browser version 87 and higher):
  
  

• Now you can click on the three dots and see:
  
  

• On click on “Keep”. Now you see:
  
  

• Click on “Show more”:
  
  

• Click on “Keep anyway”:
  
  

• After click on “Show in folder” the user can start the installation progress what leads to this message:
  
  

• Now click on "More Info":
  
  
  
• Hit the "Run anyway" button and finally install and enjoy your plug-in!
