- Please make sure to assign a MIDI track to your Virtual Instrument.
- Be aware that clicking on the plugin's on-screen keyboard makes the plug-in play, but does not send MIDI data to the host. That's why recording is not possible this way!
- The same goes for hitting the record button while the instrument is playing. It won't record anything.
To record please use either an external MIDI device (e.g. a MIDI keyboard) or use the host's MIDI editor, which comes with most DAWs.
Perfect for recording: A Midi keyboard.
Add and edit Midi notes in your host's Midi Editor.
Clicks on the on-screen keyboard are not recorded.
