How to install Beatmaker version 3 manually:
- Quit your DAW.
- Download and install BEATMAKER – this is the frame which serves as the host for the Beatmaker 3 titles. (This install is handled automatically if using the UJAM App to install any Beatmaker titles.)
- Download and install a Beatmaker version 3 title (the actual plug-in content, e.g. BM3 GLORY).
-
Open the following directory:
- Mac: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/UJAM/
- Windows: C:\ProgramData\UJAM\
-
If any BM3 titles are there, move their folders (e.g. BM3-GLORY) to this directory:
- Mac: Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/UJAM/BEATMAKER/titles/
- Windows: C:\Users\Public\UJAM\BEATMAKER\titles\
- Sync the UJAM App before starting your DAW or loading the Beatmaker plug-in (scroll down to the bottom of the UJAM App to find the 'refresh now' link).
- In case of any glitches, re-instantiate the plugin or restart your DAW.
Mac users may see this warning:
This is nothing to worry about – in this case you'd need to go to your Privacy & Security settings and allow the installer:
