How to Rescan Plug-ins in Cubase:
1. Make sure your ujam plug-in is installed in order to run properly, please check if that’s the case.
Plugin Manager > Plugin search paths field. Use the Plugin Manager to add the following path:
VSTs should be placed here:
{SYSDRIVE}:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/UJAM |
not here:
{SYSDRIVE}:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST 3/Steinberg |
2. Go to the Devices menu and select the Plug-In Manager and enable the VST 2 Plug-In
Path Settings panel by clicking the cog icon (
) at the bottom left of the window.
3. A new window will open at the bottom. On the right top of this window, you will see a “refresh” icon.
Pressing this icon will rescan all VST folders and add new plug-ins to the list. Newly scanned plugins will appear at the Plug-in Manager.
Additional Troubleshooting
If the re-scan couldn't help, or you're using Cubase 7 or below, you'll need to re-set the VST blacklist file manually.
Re-setting the Cubase plug-in Blacklist manually:

- Vst2xBlacklist Cubase.xml
3. Re-open Cubase
Windows

(Note: If you can't find the ''AppData'' folder, here is an article that will show you how to access in hidden folders: https://support.ujam.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011319200)
2. Delete the file -> Vst2xBlacklist Cubase.xml
3. Re-open Cubase
Your plug-in/plug-ins should’ve now been scanned successfully. Enjoy making music!
