UJAM plugins are not officially qualified with macOS 26 (Golden Gate) yet, though there are no known compatibility issues.
Prior to any OS upgrade, it's best to make a plan to avoid potential project disruption. Before you upgrade, ask yourself questions like...
- Is everything else up to date? Check for recent upgrades in the UJAM App to make sure you are running the latest versions.
- Can you test it first? Do you have another drive to install the new OS on so you can test your apps and plug-ins before committing?
- Do you have a backup? If you're upgrading your main system, do you have a full backup in case you need to revert to the old OS?
- Is it worth it right now? Are the new features more valuable than the time you'll spend on the upgrade (and potential rollback)?
- Are you in the middle of a project? Can you afford the potential disruption to your current work?
Considering these points might help you avoid some problems and ensure a smooth transition when you decide to upgrade.
